Everest Region
Solukhumbu region, has almost a mythical status when it comes to trekkers and mountaineers for many reasons. First and foremost, this region, inhabits the world’s tallest mountain, Everest along with Lhotse(8,516m), Makalu(8485m) and Cho Oyu(8201m)- 4th, 5th and 6th tallest mountains in the world. It would be noteworthy to mention, Mt.Amadablam, one of the most iconic peak in Everest region.
Trekking in Khumbu region is very popular and almost every year tens of thousands of tourists pay homage to the grandest creations of mother nature, while experiencing a culture so rich and diverse that, all the sweat and pain of traversing through the demanding terrain becomes worth it. It is for this experience, that people leave their level of comfort and travel from around the world, not just to savor the delightful beauty of majestic mountains but to add an experience of lifetime. As the saying goes, “you don’t know what you are missing, until you experience it for yourself”, this holds true for your adventure in Everest region.
Homestay
Homestay is quite an authentic way of experiencing local culture, as one will be an intimate part of local family, sharing local produce, living space and most importantly even for a brief period, the life of a visitor will intertwine with that of welcoming hosts, an experience that transcends beyond the usual tourism experience. It is no wonder then, this kind of first-hand experience not only connects people to the place, cultural heritages and landscape of one’s trip duration but also helps to connect to the people of the land.
Homestay is gaining popularity in Nepal, after the government of Nepal officially backed the program in the year 2011. This program added a different dimension to tourism sector as it opens of more avenues for the tourist to broaden his/her experience.
In the beginning, these programs were implemented in Lamjung district (Ghalegaun) and Syanga district (Sirubari). These days, with the gaining popularity, many regions including the capital Kathmandu, Makawanpur, Kavrepalanchowk, Chitwan, Ilam, Gorkha, Palpa, Kailali, Kalikot, etc.. offer homstay packages. Generally, it is more convenient for the backpackers or the people on tighter budget but anyone with interest in humanistic side of tourism are more than welcome to explore this. These programs not only boost eco-tourism but it also helps the marginal communities economically, provides learning experience to the host family as well as the guest in the way that will benefit them both, an experience sure to transcend the barriers imposed by language, society and geography.

Peak Climbing
Himalaya, the abode of Lord Shiva, the natural watchtower surrounding vast swaths of lands and glaciers that melted into life giving riverbeds where distinct ancient civilizations emerged, prospered and is still continuing from thousands of years, a place where mystical sacred Shambala lies somewhere close to the footsteps of Yeti and where myth permeates into everyday life.
हिमालय : (Sanskrit word)
Hima (snow) + ālaya(dwelling) = “abode of the snow”
Nepal being a small nation is blessed with highest concentration of medium to the tallest mountains, in whole of planet earth. In fact, eight out of 15 tallest mountains adorn the Himalayas of Nepal, including the tallest Mt.Everest. Add to the fact that, 1310 mountains that tower above 6000m are from the Himalayas.
The smaller mountains with heights ranging from 5587 to 6500 meters are generally called trekking peaks. The reason it is called so is because, with basic mountaineering skills, i.e. use of ropes, climbing boots with crampons, basic descent, using ice axes, using ladder, etc. any trekker with decent fitness and without serious health conditions can summit these peaks. By the standards of Himalayas, these are smaller mountains with less risk. Thus, the adversity level will also be much lesser compared to the tall behemoths surrounding their smaller brethren. Furthermore, our experienced climbing guides with years of mountaineering experience (Who have summited Mt.Everest and other highest mountains) will be helping you achieve the necessary skill sets that you will surely require when you make that ascent to the top. Also, we will provide you with all essential gears so that you won’t have to worry about the hassle of organizing everything by yourself.
If you are a trekker with stamina and want to take your trekking experience to next level, then we are more than happy to help you reach that level. Believe us, when all is said and done, the view from the top will be quite worth it!
