As such, you can experience untouched natural beauty, authentic ethnic foods and unique lifestyles in its traditional form during this trek. Kanchenjunga circuit is protected under the Kanchenjunga conservation area project and this has ensured that the conservation of endangered species of flora and fauna has been a high priority. The area boasts several animal species like musk deer, snow leopard, sloth bear, civet, Himalayan black bear, red panda, Tibetan wild ass, Himalayan blue sheep, goral and takin, as well as reptiles including Russell’s viper.

The best time for trekking in the Kanchenjunga circuit is in the autumn (September to November), as it ensures clear weather, perfect temperature and less slippery trails.

One can see various vegetation ranging from lush tropical jungle to rhododendron forests, chestnut and oak forests. As you go through the pristine and remote villages, you will be able to witness unique side of Nepalese culture and life-style of indigenous Rai and Limbu people.

To hike through a pristine Landscape, that is surrounded by magnificent mountain ranges, with peaks eager to prove their uniqueness in shape and height that tower over the lush green vegetation and hills and be around the most welcoming people with centuries old culture and tradition of their own is quite an experience. If you want to venture out in this less trodden path, you are advised to condition your body for the challenges this trek will surely bring. You are expected to be in healthy shape, have good stamina and proper mindset helps as well. You ought to have previous trekking experience as you will pass through some high passes, spend longer duration in high altitude and will be walking for longer hours.
