The Mardi Himal trek is popular for its shorter day hikes and impressive mountain views. Mardi Himal means the name of the climbing peak standing in front of Mount Fishtail. The trails are open until the base of Mardi Himal. The trek is suitable for both beginners and professional trekkers.

Where to begin the Trekking
The starting point of the trek is Kande or Dhampus. However, the jeep is accessible up to Pittam Deurali and Landruk, if you want to make the trekking days shorter.The driving alternative can save time. Normally, the drive to Kande and Dhampus from Pokhara is about 2 hours. However, drive by jeep to Pittam Deurali is estimated to take around 5 hours and 6 hours to Landruk village.
